The St. Genevieve School Board established by the pastor, in accordance with diocesan policy, assists him and the principal in the governance of the parish school. The board is consultative. It cannot act or make decisions binding on the parish school without the approval of the pastor and the principal. The board is consulted in major matters in the following areas: planning, policy making, finances, development and public relations. Membership is composed of the clergy and laity. The pastor and administrators are the ex-officio members.
